A new exhibition by an internationally recognised artist that explores the critical and aesthetic notions of memory within contemporary life. Site-specific installations, Internet Art and generative paintings will be among the displays.

To mark Cheshire's Year of Gardens in 2008, CAN are embarking on a series of exhibitions across the county. Works in a wide variety of media including drawing, painting and sculpture will be on show.
Artist Mary Low is creating a site-specific wall drawing for the gallery.

4th Halton Open Exhibition

Take photographs, paint watercolours, draw or make sculpture? Whether you have years of experience or are new to making art, you can submit a work of art you have created for this yearŐs exhibition, showcasing the creativity in our borough.

Work by regional artists and makers is displayed in our large and small craft cabinets in the arts centre foyer. Highlights this seasoninclude:

Beautiful bags and objects created using feltmaking, woodturning and moulding plywood.

Organic and natural forms are explored in intricate jewellery.
