	Books and Reading Here you can find out how to join one of our reading groups or maybe start your own. Discover websites decicated to books and reading to inspire you! Or what about having a collection of our books in your workplace?

	Children's Library The children's libraries in Halton are full of books for all interests and ages, whether you want a picture book, a good story to read or something to help with your homework. We also have audio books, jigsaws, storysacks, Playstation 2 games, DVDs and videos.

	Community History If you want to trace your family tree, research the history of your house or just want to find out what your local area was like in the past then Halton Libraries have a wealth of information that can help.

	Computer Facilities We offer extensive computer facilities at all our libraries, including free Internet access. Each of our libraries is a UK Online Centre.

	DVDs, CDs and Multimedia Audio Books, CD-ROMs, DVDs, Language CDs, Music CDs, Playstation 2 Games, Videos and much, much more at Halton Libraries!

	Library Catalogue Search our massive catalogue. You can reserve items, and even renew your items!

	Library Events Halton Libraries have a full programme of events throughout the Natioanl year of Reading. Coming soon the Tabletop Football Challenge and Football Family Fun Day! Plus a full programme of summer events for children and young people

	Lifelong Learning Halton Libraries have lots of lifelong learning opportunities and are a great place to take a course, brush up on your skills or just use the library as a quiet place to study. Find out what courses and learning sessions are available in your local library?

	Online Services We have subscribed to the following websites to allow you to have full access from within any Halton Library. Some also offer remote access, from any computer in the world.

	Reference and information We welcome all enquiries and provide Information to anyone on any subject. Our aim is to find the answer for you. We subscribe to internet services on your behalf.

	Useful Links Among the millions of sites that make up the Internet, there are many contain high quality information.

	Young People's Library You can use computers, borrow books, get help with your homework, watch MTV at some libraries or use the listening posts to hear the latest tunes for FREE. You can borrow DVDs, CD's and PS2 Games for a small loan charge. Or just come along and flick through magazines and chill with your friends.
