Castlefields - Waterbridge Mews

Halton Borough Council transferred the 6,000 plus properties it owned to Halton Housing Trust, a newly created not for profit housing association, in December 2005, after the majority of tenants voted in favour of the transfer. 

Consequently the Council no longer has direct housing management responsibilities for these homes. 

However, the Council still carries out or has responsibility for some functions in relation to Housing, described below.
